QUALITY ASSURED -
Petersen Approved Installer

We work to the same exacting standards as the Petersen Stainless Rigging group, an ISO 9001 registered company, we offer full traceability on all standing rigging we supply, giving you the peace of mind to enjoy your yacht safely.

All our re-rigs come with a Petersen Approved Installer Scheme Certificate of Conformity, Record of Swageing, which records all of the batch numbers for the parts and wire meaning the work is traceable all the way back to the beginning of the manufacturing process even years after completion. ALL swage measurements are recorded using a micrometer to make sure the work has been carried out as well as it can be and the swages are well within tolerance.

We know having full confidence in your mast and rigging is extremely important.

Why Petersen chose to start the PAIS system, taken from their Website

For decades, Petersen has led the market in quality stainless steel rigging components. Now we are working with riggers across the world to recognise excellence and support the raising of standards in the industries we serve.

Our expert marine team has worked to develop the Petersen Approved Installer Scheme (PAIS). Through this scheme, we aim to be advocates for the provision of controlled and consistent swaged work through the development of our rigger approval scheme.

PAIS is the only approval scheme for the marine rigging industry. Achieving accreditation from Petersen is proof that an installer meets our rigorous standards, and installs swaged fittings in accordance with the Petersen Approved Method of Swaging, which complies with BS EN 13411-8 Terminations for steel wire ropes. Safety. Swage terminals and swaging.

The directory lists all the Approved Installers currently registered on the Scheme.
